No Surprises Act For Therapy Clients
Your Rights Under the No Surprises Act
Under the No Surprises Act, you have protections against unexpected medical bills. This law ensures that:
You won’t receive surprise bills for emergency care or services from out-of-network providers at in-network facilities.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services if you are uninsured or choosing to pay out-of-pocket.
If your actual bill is significantly higher than the Good Faith Estimate, you may have the right to dispute the charges.
